Golf Tournament Rained Out --- Postponed Until Sunday July 12, 2009

George patiently waits for the rain to stop...	Mother nature didn't help us today. Rain and the potential of lightning strikes forced our tournament to be postponed until Sunday July 12, 2009. The dinner was still held at Sullivan Council and a good time was had by all. Click here for proof of the rescheduling of the tournament IMPORTANT NOTES FOR JULY 12TH: Registration time is 7:00 AM The tournament starts promptly at 7:30 AM

   The 2009 State Convention was held on the weekend of May 15-17 at the Radisson Hotel in Warwick.
Congratulations to our State Officers who were unanimously relected for a second term.  We all wish them well as
they continue their good work for the RI Knights of Columbus.

   And in a very close election, Mark Bamberg and Phil DePaolo were elected as delegates to the Supreme Convention
to be held this August in Phoenix, Arizona.

   We also bid a fond farewell to Supreme Director Lou Barbour and his lovely wife Ciel who shared our weekend
with us as the official representative of the Supreme Knight and truly provided a wonderful addition to our weekend.
